Iran Biotech Fund was founded in July 2015 by the investment of the private sector and participation of Biotech Development Council of I.R.I Vice Presidency for Science and Technology. It initially started its activities with a domestic approach and had four principal objectives: - Investment in high-tech firms and start-ups - Financing technology-based projects and businesses - Commercializing innovative projects - Participating in projects in the field of biotechnology - Helping companies overcome obstacles and difficulties they face in the process of production and commercialization of biological products

The Biotechnology Fund has been launched with the support of the Biotechnology Development Headquarters and the participation of the non-governmental sector. Our goal is to invest boldly and provide financial resources to support technology businesses, commercialize innovative projects and participate in biotechnology projects, and remove barriers and problems facing companies in the commercialization and production of biotechnology products and improve the scientific and economic level. Our country is in this field.
